Meltdown: Complete
Well hey there, I'm just about to have a complete Meltdown over the fact that I have completed Meltdown. All sixteen chapters of Meltdown, book one in my as-yet-to-be-titled series of NA Dystopian SciFi novels, are available on Vocal now! The next steps involve final edits, formatting, commissioning a cover, finalizing the series name, and choosing where and how to publish. I may do some blog posts about these parts of the process, as they come up, if anyone is interested! This is a huge dream of mine, and I am absolutely geeking out. Also, I feel like I cheated in about a million ways... by self-publishing, by releasing it for free to take the pressure off, by shortening the book. But you know what? That kind of thinking does nothing but hold me back. Today I'd like to encourage you to cut corners, cheat a little, do any (ethical, morally neutral) thing it takes to get you closer to your goal.
